WHO WE ARE

ABOUT US

We began as strangers – a group of NYC women from wide-ranging backgrounds who rallied together to organize the official New York Chapter of the Women’s March on Washington. We threw our heart and souls into getting thousands of New Yorkers to DC to send this crucial message to the new administration: women’s rights are human rights and defending the marginalized is defending us all.

The Women’s March was our first step. Now we forward march, together, to empower and mobilize women to enact meaningful political change.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?

Women in New York must be more politically active

to achieve equal representation in government, and we empower every New York woman to vote, run for office, and hold our elected officials accountable.

Any threat to women’s rights is a fundamental threat to human rights.

Protection for women’s rights must be enshrined in the New York State Constitution.

New York State can and should be the model to catalyze grassroots-level change across the United States.
